How to Join
Come out to several meetings to get the feel of our club. Guests are welcome
anytime!
When you are ready to join simply fill out the Toastmasters application form at the meeting and
make out a cheque payable to Speak for Success York-Simcoe Toastmasters Club for the appropriate
amount. Dues cover membership from the period October to October, and are pro-rated throughout the
year as shown in the following table:

The total cost of membership includes the one-time new members fee to cover the cost of your manuals.
Dues are split between Toastmasters International, and the Speak for Success York-Simcoe Toastmasters Club.
The portion retained by our club is used to cover operating costs.
We take care of conversion and bank charges and handle the details of remitting
your dues to Toastmasters International which are in US Dollars.
Membership dues are very modest when you consider the benefits:
- Approximately twenty-three regular meetings per year;
- Your Toastmaster manuals, including
"The Communications and Leadership Manual";
- Your choice of two more advanced manuals once you have completed
The Communication and Leadership Manual;
- and an opportunity to make new friends.
Toastmasters is devoted to providing a mutually supportive and positive learning environment for every
member to develop strong communication and leadership skills. Joining Speak for Success York-Simcoe
Toastmasters is a safe and inexpensive way to develop these skills. Don't just take
